| The Peel Medical Practice was purpose built in 1998. Initially housing 2 doctors and little more than 3000 patients. It has now expanded to the extent that up to 11 doctors look after over 11000 patients. The practice is situated near the centre of Tamworth close to shops, bus routes, parking spaces and the train station. It is a modern building of an advanced design incorporating the most up-to-date facilities and the widest possible provision of health care. |

The team of doctors, practice nurses receptionists, healthcare assistants, practice manager and administrative staff work closely with visiting teams incorporating district nurses, health visitors, mid wives and mental health workers. The practice liaises closely with other health care providers and associated organisations to deliver a health care service which is dynamic, responsive and appropriate to the needs of the practice population. |
